In cybersmart we made a map about where were you born?. On this map you can see some dots and on those dots is where people in my class were born. A lot of people were born in Auckland hospital (Auckland) and, other people were born over seas. If you click on one of the dots on the side will pop up there name and where were they born. It might have pictures of the place of where they were born others, maybe the picture of themselves.

Here are some questions that I have answered to?

How far have some students travelled in their lifetime to reach WPS?
I think probably 4,000 km is the furtherest to get from there all the way to WPS.

Why do people make the choice to move to different countries?
I think they move to other countries because there country might have a lot of people.
Small place living in.
Country getting attacked by other countries.
And probably loud city / country.

Is this a trend in NZ society ? What does the media tell us.
Yes it is a trend in NZ society a lot of people think that there is too many people in NZ because people are choosing to come here. So they might change there mind and go to another country. So NZ is getting less people.

There is a video about children saying the differences between another person.
The video makes me quite sad because they are saying that other people are saying lies about them like girls can't play sport but girls can.It also made me feel the same as them sometimes when someone call's another person something mean or says something about them that's a lie.
You can comment to me saying on how you feel about the video.

Talofa  lava my name is Kayci, in cyber smart with our cyber smart teacher we have been talking about being cyber bullied online. On this sheet I have done some work about being cyber bullied so James our cyber smart teacher talked about if anyone has been on face book with your account or any other account then put your hand. So this boy called Devesh  he raised his hand but told another story. When he finish we had to make up or think of what problem happened. Then we started writing our problem. These are my Answers to my Questions.

1.We can talk to the person online and have a little chat with them.
2. We should try and become friends with them.
3.You should be honest and tell the person how you feel and they will be friends with you
4.Yes and they can sort it out with you.

abstract art slideshow

This is a slide show about my abstract art.
In Rm 9 we have been working hard on doing slideshows about our abstract art.
If you flick through the slide you can read information about how I made these pieces of artwork. In the last slide it just has a picture of me in the hall with my art work. If you want to see my art work go into the hall today and check out my artwork and you can also look at other peoples artwork too. My favourite part of the abstract art is doing the dye and the vertical lines and horizontal lines.

Commenting

Hi guys! with James we did a sheet that is called commenting. In this sheet we had to practise blog commenting. To do that we went to find a blog and check out one of the comments, and copy and paste it into this worksheet. Then we put it into the box at the top. Then we turned the comment into an interesting and more positive blog comment. We had to use the P,T,H, which stands for positive thoughtful and helpful,  in our comment. Then we finished by writing our blog link and saying, 'feel free' to comment. Then we checked it with Ms Sands so that we can post the comment to the person's blog.

What makes a good blog comment?

Today in cyber smart with our cyber smart teacher called James we made a padlet about what makes a good blog comment. So we wrote down all of our ideas on our padlet. I wrote quite a lot of words down on the padlet about using a helpful, thoughtful and positive comment. I also wrote down that you have to use punctuation and mostly use capital letters and full stops. We looked at the really good comments that have a helpful, thoughtful and positive information. So we thought for a while and then went back to the padlet and we started writing down on what we saw from the comments from other school blogs, and wrote down what we learnt. I hope you enjoy what our class wrote on our padlet.
